The SmallHD Cine 13 is a 13.3-inch UHD production monitor with a native resolution of 3840×2160, designed for high-end camera setups and field production workflows.
It features a high brightness of over 1500 nits, making it suitable for daylight and bright outdoor use. The contrast ratio is approximately 1300:1, and it supports 10-bit color depth (8+2 FRC) for accurate color rendering.
In terms of connectivity the Cine 13 offers four 12G-SDI inputs and four 12G-SDI outputs, as well as an HDMI 2.0 input and output, enabling seamless integration into multi-camera, 4K60 workflows. The monitor runs the PageOS 4 operating system, providing tools such as waveform, vectorscope, false color, focus assist, pixel zoom and LUT loading via SD card.
The housing is built in a machined-aluminum unibody, weighs around 3.1 kg (6.8 lb) and is designed for both studio and field use. Powering options include a 4-pin XLR input (12-34 VDC) and optional dual V-Mount or Gold-Mount battery plates, along with multiple accessory power outputs.
In practical use the Cine 13 serves as a versatile monitor for camera operations, video village or portable rigs. It strikes a balance between size, resolution, brightness and features: large enough for critical monitoring, but still riggable in the field. If your workflow demands 4K monitoring, high brightness and professional I/O then the Cine 13 is a strong fit.
