DJI Ronin 4D 8K

The DJI Ronin 4D 8K builds on the same all-in-one concept as the 6K version, but adds a higher-resolution X9-8K sensor with more detail, cleaner fine textures and increased flexibility for reframing in post.

The 8K model records up to 8K ProRes and ProRes RAW, offering a sharper image and a slightly different dual-native ISO structure tuned for maximum dynamic range.

While both versions share the 4-axis stabilisation, LiDAR autofocus and the same modular system, the 8K variant is better suited for high-end productions that need maximum resolution, VFX-friendly plates or large delivery formats, whereas the 6K model remains the lighter, more efficient choice for fast documentary or handheld work.
