Efficient, portable, and swift.
Both of these Angénieux Rouge DP lenses are sufficiently lightweight to be mounted on a run-and-gun setup—and can even be used without additional support if necessary. With a t2.8 aperture, you have the ideal balance of bokeh and illumination to capture captivating shots with a creamy shallow depth of field, while also providing huge flexibility to a reasonable price.
With the great success of Red cameras, 2008/9 Angénieux developed with these lenses a series that is particularly well suited to the resolution of digital cameras and the optical needs of sensor chips. The name rouge (French for red) is no coincidence.
