The Fujinon ZK19-90mm T2.9 Cabrio Lens is a versatile zoom lens with a PL mount designed for Super 35mm cameras. Its focus, zoom, and iris barrels have 0.8 film pitch gears, allowing compatibility with the removable ENG-style digital drive unit. The lens features a rear PL mount with electrical contacts, enabling the sharing of lens data with compatible cameras.
The detachable drive unit serves as a hand grip and offers convenient zoom control with a rocker switch. It has 16-bit encoding and can be controlled remotely through wired or wireless controllers from Fujinon or third-party manufacturers. The drive unit aligns quickly and accurately with the lens gears for seamless operation. Power can be supplied via an external connector or the PL mount’s “hot shoe” interface. Additionally, the lens comes with a 111mm clear protection filter to safeguard its front.
Noteworthy features include 9 iris blades for appealing bokeh, a 200° focus barrel rotation, a 120° zoom rotation, and a macro focus function. The lens does not require shims for adjusting the flange focal distance.
