The SmallHD Cine 7 is a 7 inch 1920×1200 monitor with about 1800 nits brightness, 10 bit processing and a wide color gamut. It offers SDI and HDMI, full monitoring tools and optional camera control for supported systems. The touchscreen interface and color accuracy make it suited for controlled environments and color-critical work.
Compared to the 703 UltraBright, the Cine 7 is less focused on maximum daylight visibility but provides better color performance and camera control options. The Ultra 7 offers higher brightness and a more robust design, making it stronger for harsh outdoor conditions, while the 703 remains the dedicated high-brightness option.
In practice the Cine 7 sits between both models, combining solid brightness with advanced color tools in a compact 7 inch form factor.
