The infamous Olympus OM Zuiko Primes represent a collection of still photography lenses that were all crafted under the supervision of japanese master camera designer Yoshihisa Maitani in the 1970s. During its time, the OM system boasted the most extensive range of f/2 lenses of any lens manufacturer.
While companies like Moviecam already saw their brilliance ages ago and – before rehousing was a big thing – made a whole cine set out of the Zuikos. Our modern Whitepoint versions are the original photo lenses but with better close focus abilities and a very round bokeh even when stopped down due to the 16-blade iris.
All lenses are matching extremely well, ensuring consistent performance across the board. The OMs are known for their vintage, yet very crisp imagery with invitingly warm flares. They look beautiful on Super 35 cameras but definitely shine most combined with Full Frame and Large Format cameras!
We have two sets available in case you’re planning a multi-camera shoot.
