The Viltrox 1.33x Full Frame Anamorphic lenses are built to cover full-frame 16:9 sensors and deliver a 2.39:1 aspect ratio without the need for open gate or 4:3 modes. They are among the few 1.33x squeeze anamorphic lenses on the market that truly support full-frame sensors.
With focal lengths of 35mm T2, 50mm T2 and 75mm T2, the set offers geared focus and iris rings, a 95 mm front diameter, and interchangeable mounts. The optical design includes an HD Nano multi-layer coating and an anamorphic cylindrical group, yielding a controlled oval bokeh and horizontal flare performance characteristic of anamorphic lenses.
While sharpness at T2 is slightly softer (especially on the wider 35 mm), stopping down to T4-T5.6 brings the lenses into their sweet spot. Build quality is solid, focus and iris rings are uniform across the set, making it well-suited for cine workflows and follow-focus setups.
Because the squeeze factor is moderate (1.33x) the lenses offer more versatility than heavier 1.8x or 2x anamorphics: they work on standard 16:9 sensors and avoid excessive cropping.
