AATON XTERÀ

The AATON Xterà is the last and most modern AATON S16 film camera. It's small, lightweight, reliable, and quiet. It includes a flicker free VHR Video Assist and a custom built Elokuvakonepaja power / video converter. This gives the user the freedom to use V-Mount batteries and SDI HD Monitors. It's co-planar pull-down mechanism produces a micro-steady film transport, not just vertically and laterally, but also in terms of flange focal distance. Thanks to Aaton’s famous ‘cat on the shoulder’ design, the camera is perfect for handheld work. The camera is famed for producing crisp images while maintaining a whisper-quiet mechanical movement. Many Cinema and TV productions have used this camera throughout the 2000s, for example Wes Anderson's "Moonrise Kingdom" or Damien Chazelle's "First Man".
  • Flicker Free IVS with HD-SDI
  • V-Mount Battery Plate
  • Quiet Operation
  • 3-75 fps
  • Highly suitable for handheld work
  • Easy to load magazines, 416 Syle
