Our Canon FD-X TLS set consists of carefully selected high-speed vintage lenses from the 1970s and 80s, rehoused by True Lens Services (TLS) into durable, cinema-grade mechanical builds. The result is a unique combination of classic FD rendering – soft, organic, slightly warm tones with smooth bokeh – and modern usability.
The lenses are all T1.4–T1.6, making them ideal for low-light work, handheld setups, or gimbal use, while maintaining a consistent and compact form factor. Focus mechanics are precise and fluid, with long throws, consistent gear positions, and PL mounts for seamless integration into professional workflows.
The set includes a mix of Canon, Yashica, and Minolta vintage glass – each selected for its optical character and image quality, now unified through the FDX rehousing.
Rehoused by TLS (UK) – PL mount
Classic Canon FD vintage image with high-speed performance
Consistent front diameter: 110 mm (except 18mm = 143 mm)
Long focus throw, solid cine mechanics, matched gear positions
Lightweight & compact – perfect for handheld, gimbal, Steadicam
Close focus distances:
