FOCUSBUG OV1
The Focusbug OV.1 is a compact video overlay unit for professional focus pulling and Cine RT workflows. Available for rental in Berlin, it sits between the camera feed and the focus monitor and places real time distance and lens information directly over the image via SDI or HDMI.
For 1st ACs, the OV.1 makes focus information easier to read while staying close to the actual frame. It can display Cine RT rangefinder data, BUG subject distance, 2x view mode and lens control position as a customizable overlay. Position, size, colour and opacity can be adjusted to match the way each assistant likes to work.
With focus rings, Line Mode, Marks Mode, dynamic limits and Cine RT menu control from the handset, the OV.1 helps connect subject distance, focus marks and lens position in one clean monitor view. It is especially useful on feature films, commercials, TV productions and documentary shoots where accurate focus information needs to stay visible during the take.
