ARRI Nia 1
The ARRI NIA 1 Network Interface Adapter expands ARRI lens and camera control workflows through Ethernet and IP based connectivity. Available for rental in Berlin, it bridges traditional LBUS based ARRI ECS setups with modern network workflows, making it useful for cine, broadcast, multi camera and remote control applications.
The NIA 1 can connect LBUS and LCS devices over IP networks or link lens control systems to cameras with an IP interface. This allows setups such as long distance lens control over Ethernet, wired range extension, multi camera control and more advanced Hi 5 workflows with selected third party cameras such as Sony BURANO or Sony VENICE. Some camera control functions require the corresponding Hi 5 license.
Its compact design includes an integrated touchscreen for direct operation and quick setup. ARRI’s network channel concept makes configuration simple, while manual IP settings are also available for more complex network environments.
