DJI Ronin 4D 6K

The DJI Ronin 4D 6K is an all in one cinema camera system designed for commercials, documentaries, music videos and fast moving productions that benefit from a highly integrated setup. Available for rental in Berlin, it combines a full frame 6K camera, 4 axis stabilization, LiDAR focusing and wireless video transmission in a single compact system. DJI positions the Ronin 4D as a modular cinema camera built around speed, integration and mobile workflows.  

At the heart of the system is DJI’s Zenmuse X9 6K full frame camera, which supports internal recording in formats including Apple ProRes RAW, ProRes 422 HQ and H.264. The Ronin 4D 6K records up to 6K and also offers high frame rates in 4K, making it a strong option for productions that want cinematic image quality with a faster and more streamlined setup than a traditional camera and gimbal combination.  

What makes the Ronin 4D 6K especially useful is the way it combines camera movement, focus and monitoring into one system. With built in 4 axis stabilization, LiDAR based focusing, a compact body and support for interchangeable lens mounts, it is particularly well suited to handheld work, moving shots, tight spaces and productions where setup time needs to stay minimal. DJI also supports multiple lens mount options, which makes the system flexible enough for a wide range of professional on set workflows.  

Compared to more conventional cinema camera builds, the Ronin 4D 6K is less about maximum modularity and more about speed, efficiency and integration. That makes it a very practical choice for shoots that need a stabilised camera package without the added size and complexity of a separate camera, gimbal and wireless video setup.
