ARRI Alexa Mini

The ARRI Alexa Mini is a compact digital cinema camera built for feature films, commercials, TV productions and documentary shoots. Available for rental in Berlin, it combines ARRI’s trusted ALEV III image quality with a lightweight body that has made it a long standing choice for handheld work, gimbal setups, studio builds and demanding location shoots. It delivers natural skin tones, smooth highlight roll off and the organic image character that made the Alexa line a standard across high end film production.  

Compared to the Alexa Mini LF and Alexa 35, the Alexa Mini remains the more compact and straightforward option for productions working within a Super 35 based workflow. While the Mini LF is designed for the large format look and the Alexa 35 offers ARRI’s newer sensor, REVEAL Color Science and more dynamic range, the Alexa Mini still stands out through its proven reliability, compact form factor and familiar ARRI image. It is especially well suited to productions looking for a flexible camera body with established workflows and broad lens compatibility.  

The camera supports a wide range of recording formats, including ProRes and ARRI RAW, with options such as Open Gate, 4:3 and UHD depending on the licensed configuration. Its symmetrical design allows flexible rigging in almost any orientation, while interchangeable lens mounts expand the range of usable optics from PL to EF, B4 and LPL based setups. This makes the Alexa Mini a versatile choice for productions that need a compact camera without giving up professional on set workflows.
